Responsible behaviour policy
Robina State School is committed to developing the ‘whole person’ in our students. Our school motto of ‘Friendship, Pride & Respect’ is that which oversees and is our code of behaviour. All school community members have the right and responsibility to demonstrate friendship, pride and respect for themselves and others in all their undertakings.
Cybersafety and cyberbullying
The internet, mobile phones and instant messaging provide wonderful opportunities for children to learn, be creative andsocialise online. They also provide opportunities for inappropriate behaviour, bullying and harassment to occur – causing pain and suffering to the targets of such behaviour.
p4 Cybersafety and cyberbullying A guide for parents and caregivers Education Queensland
This guide produced in 2013 provides important information for parents about cybersafety and cyberbulling. A copy can be located in the Related links section.
Our school is a uniform school. All children are expected to wear school uniform at all times. A hat and appropriate footwear are compulsory (no sandals or thongs). An inappropriate attire note will be handed to any child who does not present in full uniform.
Uniforms can be purchased from the School Uniform Shop, open Tuesday and Thursday between 8.30 am and 9.30 am. A limited range of second hand school uniforms is available from the uniform shop.
It is school policy and is now expected that parents/guardians either email or telephone the school office on the first day of student’s absence from school simply explaining that your child is absent and is in your care.
